UMSI provides new, secure ways for Filipinos to transact in the world of digital payments. Aiming to serve unbanked Filipinos in remote and urban communities all over the archipelago, UMSI is now a registered and licensed E-money issuer (EMI) by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
E-wallets give users a way to securely store cash online as a source of funds for their digital transactions. Approached by local government units and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), UMSI has issued e-wallets for use in various aid programs.
Drawing from its long history of securely handling remittances, UMSI offers a safe, seamless way to transfer money for Filipinos around the country and the globe. Across the Philippines, UMSI assures smooth money transfers as part of InstaPay and Pesonet networks.
A part of the BancNet Network as an Electronic Money Issuer in the Philippines, UMSI has also partnered with Visa to offer a universally-accepted reloadable Visa prepaid debit card with both BancNet and Visa capabilities. This allows cardholders to pay and withdraw via BancNet terminals and ATMs, and also allows them to purchase from any Visa-accepting merchants, both traditional and online, around the world.
Along with merchants all over the country, UMSI is helping to make easier, timely payments with a proper audit trail for Filipinos in remote areas.
Supported by USSC’s experience in foreign exchange handling, UMSI plans to provide Filipinos with a safe, accessible way to buy and sell foreign exchange.
UMSI opens up new channels of payment with their scan to pay services. Using the U Cash Mobile App, users can scan to pay at QR-enabled Philippines banks, participating merchants, and e-wallet apps.
Easing the way for every purchase and payment. Thanks to our partnership with Instapay, UMSI offers local Philippine merchants to accept payments through Instapay.
Paving the way to easier, quicker payments. Now, local Philippine merchants and service providers can onboard with UMSI as billers. Customers may use the mobile app to pay their selected biller.
